Evaluations
At Competent Communicators, we offer a variety of comprehensive evaluations tailored to meet your child's unique needs. Our services include AAC evaluations, assessments for gestalt language processors, and family-based early intervention evaluations. We take a holistic approach to understanding your child’s communication strengths and challenges, ensuring that the evaluation process is thorough, family-centered, and designed to provide actionable insights that support meaningful progress.
Evaluations
We provide both initial evaluations to guide ongoing therapy and comprehensive assessments when a deeper understanding is needed. Our services include AAC evaluations (for families or schools), as well as evaluations for gestalt language processors to better understand language development and recommend meaningful, individualized supports.
Therapy
We offer individualized, play-based speech and language therapy that centers connection, regulation, and joy. Our neurodiversity-affirming approach supports each child’s unique communication journey—whether they use vocal speech, AAC, or a mix of both—while involving families every step of the way.
School Contracting
We partner with schools to provide AAC evaluations, student support, and staff coaching. Our goal is to ensure that AAC users are understood, supported, and set up for success across school environments through collaborative, strengths-based services.
